So I recently watched this film. It is an amazing film. At first I did not really desire to see this movie. Finally it was down to that or nothing, so I decided I might as well watch it. Also, while walking through Blockbuster, I see a shelf rack for Lady in the Water. I have been wishing to see this movie ever since I saw the previews for it. My mother and I almost went to see it in theaters, but occurrences prevented us from watching it. The shelf was empty. No copies of Lady in the Water were in stock. So I got The Wicker Man.
Anyways back to John Tucker. The movie really was great. The plot is basically three girls find out they are all dating the same guy. They also meet another girl, who is a social outcast and she helps them with their conquest to destroy a man. They even go to the lengths of getting John Tucker to fall in love with Katie. They are going to break his heart. The movie has some swearing, but if you able to look over it the movie is great. There is hilarious sexual innuendos and some not so hidden sexual satire. It is not the extent to an American Pie movie, but it is not a movie that you should take your 5 yr. old to see.
WARNING! SOME SPOILERS!
There is some hidden stuff like the girls sometimes say instead of they are sexually active, they say they are "doing it" or they are "experienced."
Others are said right out. One of the girls is taking Estrogen pills and when the other girls firgure out, they ask her why she is taking them. She says "guys take Steroids to enlarge their pecs. I'm just taking these to go up a couple sizes." They warn her about the dangers of her hormones stopping, and one girl the states, "yeah, and when you run out, you're gonna grow a mustache and a penis."
So I would not reccomend this movie for the little ones. Grown ups! Enjoy.
I thought it was a well made movie. Somewhat stupid plot, but great movie!
